ISLAMABAD, Sep 8( APP) Minister for Finance and Revenue Miftah Ismail said that due to ruinous cataracts in the country, the frugality is going through hard times that have damaged the husbandry sector and structure poorly.


The finance minister in a meeting with Counselor of the United State Department of State Derek Chollet, who called on him, said the government was taking several executive measures for dealing with these grueling times, said a press release issued by the finance ministry.

The US Counselor was accompanied by US Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome.


Miftah ate the delegation and participated about the collectivemulti-dimensional ties between both countries.

The minister acquainted the delegation about the current overall macroeconomic outlook of the country.


Miftah further enlightened the delegation that Pakistan’s path to sustainable profitable growth has come narrow due to the desolation caused by the cataracts but present government’s top precedence is to sustain the path of profitable growth.

The minister also acquainted the delegation about the progress on the World Bank programs in Pakistan including RICE and PACE.


Derek Chollet introduced his platoon and appreciated the sweats of the minister on bearing colorful hard measures for setting the frugality of Pakistan on line of growth.

He also participated compassionate views over hard times being faced by Pakistan due to cataracts in Pakistan.
